Slippers were good, but the returns process lacked communication and delayed refund.
“Horrible return process.”
Both reviews criticize returns and after-sale service. One points to customer-paid return shipping and a restocking fee as main pain points. They also describe refund processing as slow.
Reviewers say extra return costs hurt the value. They specifically mention the restocking fee and having to pay return postage. At the same time, satisfaction with the slippers influences their overall sense of value.
Customers report a good wearing experience with the slippers. Frustration comes after purchase, during returns and refunds. One review calls the return experience "horrible."
Both reviews approve of the slippers' quality and comfort. They cite fit and workmanship as reasons to keep or recommend them. Product quality stands out as the strongest positive theme.
Reviews point to weak communication about returns and refunds. They mention delays and unclear refund status. The communication issues center on returns rather than pre-sale information.
Reviewers like the product but are unhappy after the sale. Strong impressions of the slippers sit alongside complaints about return costs and refund delays. Returns handling drags down the overall experience.

Horrible return process. Though German Slippers deliver quality slippers in a wide range at low cost and on time, they need to upgrade how to handle returns. Bought six pairs of ballerina slippers and two boiled wool slippers, but four pairs were too big for my kids. I made sure I notified them real quick before the fourteen days stipulated in their return policy elapsed. After eight days, I had sent back the sippers. The company's customer care rep assured me that the issue would be looked into professionally, and he would get back as soon as possible. I waited for an email notifying me of the progress, but there was no communication. Again, I contacted them and got a similar response. Today is the ninth day I'm yet to be refunded.
